Hey there! My name is Kristi, and I am a mother of two amazing girls, ages 7 and 10. I live on a farm in Hunterdon County, New Jersey with my kids, and our 13 year old pup, Kona. When I'm not behind the lens, I am busy going on adventures with my daughters, knitting, DIYing furniture, and gardening.

I am a multiple award winning and published newborn and children's photographer for nearly 8 years. Throughout those years, I have taken many courses, and become trained and certified in newborn safety and posing. Many people do not realize the amount of work that goes into a newborn session, and proper education is key!!! Newborn safety is my #1 priority, so please, reach out to me with any questions or concerns prior to your session. I am happy to help!

I studied Interior Design and Architecture at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, and ended up graduating with my Bachelor's Degree in Fine Art. When I started taking an interest in photography, I knew I wanted to incorporate my background in fine art somehow. Over the years, my style has evolved to just that. When I photograph my subjects, I imagine a beautiful painting before me and I want you to see the same in your final product. I truly believe in quality versus quantity when it comes to your session, so I take the time to go through, and hand edit every image that you choose from your session to perfection. This generally takes about 45 minutes to an hour per image. Your final product will be timeless heirloom photographs that resemble paintings, which can be passed down through the generations. Have a look around my website to be sure that my style is a good fit for you. I'm excited to hear from you!

Behind the Lens

I love beautiful settings, and am so fortunate to live and work in Hunterdon County, where there is so much amazing scenery! I am constantly scouting new locations to offer exciting new settings for you and your family.

All the details

I am always looking for optimal light to photograph in outdoors. That is why most of my outdoor sessions are held approximately 1 hour before sunset, aka "the golden hour". This time of day creates the perfect outdoor lighting for your images.

The Outdoors

Photographing in the studio is always a great option. I have full control over the lighting and environment, and we don't have to worry about rescheduling due to inclement weather. Plus, there's snacks!!!

Whether you booked a Grow With Me package, or just a newborn session, I'm always so excited to meet your little one! I love putting together custom sets for your baby's session based on the colors you would like incorporated. I hand knit most of my props, so a lot of the sets used are unique and custom made for your session.
